INTEL CPU (i3,i5,i7) MOTHERBOARD SANDY BRIDGE BERMASALAH

 
Amaran untuk pembeli Computer-Laptop baru, baru-baru ini intel sudah membuat pengumuman bahawa 6-Series chipset yang digunakan bersama processor mereka yang terbaru mempunyai masalah.
Masalah ini membabitkan motherboard Computer/Laptop processor intel i3,i5 dan i7 generasi ke2 codename(Sandy bridge).Masalah adalah membabitkan Hardware bukan software serta pembaikkan adalah sampai tahap silicon fix (benda yang dalam chipset) dan agak critical untuk jangka panjang.Intel telah berhentikan pengeluaran B2 stepping chipset yang bermasalah dan akan mengeluar kan B3 stepping chipset yang telah dibaiki dalam bulan April mungkin chipset baru akan dikeluarkan.
Jadi sila jangan beli Laptop-Desktop yang pakai Motherboard Intel Sandy Bridge buat masa sekarang sehingga masalah ini dapat dibetulkan oleh Intel Corp.

 
Masalah yang akan berlaku pada motherboard adalah:
  1. Kehilangan connection(hubungan) dengan SATA devices (contoh Harddisk dan DVDROM -pemacu DVD ).Masalah tidak berlaku masa baru beli tapi dengan pemakain 3 tahun masalah akan berlaku .Tapi jika dengan pemakain yang hevy(berat) rasanya masalah akan berlaku dengan cepat
 

Chipset circuit design issue identified

Intel representatives announced the discovery of a potential issue in one of the support chips to the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors, code named “Sandy Bridge.” Because Intel is committed to providing our customers products of the highest quality, we have proactively identified the affected part, stopped shipment of the product, and have begun to manufacture a new version of the support chip, which will resolve this issue.

Was your system purchased after January 9, 2011?

Yes - You may be affected, continue reading.

No - You have not been affected and do not need to do anything else.

Does your system have any of these Intel® processor badges on it?
MAY BE AFFECTED If your system has any of these badges, you MAY BE affected. Continue to read to identify the exact processor in your computer.

To determine if you have one of the impacted 2nd generation Intel® Core processors, you can locate processor number information on your computer.

1. In your Start menu, click on Start, Control Panel
2. In category view click on System and Security
3. Then look under System
4. If your processor says Intel® Core™ i5 CPU or Intel® Core™ i7 CPU, you may be impacted.
5. Finally, compare your processor to the list of impacted quad-core processor numbers listed with the badges above.

If you’ve answered YES to questions above, you MAY be impacted and we suggest that you contact your PC manufacturer for further details.
